Tertiary institution: Emeris University, Port Elizabeth
Field of study: Bachelor of Commerce
Phoebe Wiesie started her primary schooling at Kranshoek Primary, where she also joined the Born in Africa, and progressed to Plettenberg Bay Secondary school where she completed her 5 years of high school. Attending such a big school can be quite daunting with often over 50 learners in her classroom, nevertheless, our Phoebe proved herself to be an exceptional student and managed to graduate with very good results. Phoebe has always been passionate about starting her own business and this is why she chose to study a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Emeris university situated in Port Elizabeth, which is in the Eastern Cape, about 3 hours’ drive East of Plettenberg Bay. This will be a 4-year course and with Emeris being a private university, her classes will be so much smaller, the personal attention she will be receiving will be extremely rewarding. In her free time, she enjoys playing netball we hope that she will continue her passion for this sport at university level. We wish our Phoebe well as she embarks on her tertiary studies as a first-year student in 2026!
