Born in Africa is a well organised and transparent organisation with many different kinds of sources of income.

The godparents bring in most of the funds to sponsor their godchildren, while our study bursary fund relies on separate events, fundraisers, private donations, service clubs, schools, companies, … 

Born in Africa has now managed for more than 20 years to invest all funds in a durable and transparent way so the children in the townships around Plettenberg bay, South Africa, would benefit from them. Since 2003, more than 1000 kids can testify to the difference Born in Africa makes!

This transparency also becomes apparent through the annual report on, Donorinfo.be, an independent information centre for good causes in Belgium. Via an independent financial auditor, the platform checks the figures and year balance of BIA. Our figures match our goals.
