Ashby Prins joined the Born in Africa programme in 2004. She was one of the first students who entered our tertiary study bursary programme. Ashby grew up in Kurland Village, The Crags and always aspired to be a fashion designer as she loved paging through the international glamour magazines.
Phoebe Wiesie started her primary schooling at Kranshoek Primary, where she also joined the Born in Africa, and progressed to Plettenberg Bay Secondary school where she completed her 5 years of high school.
Our Quinique Bernardo commenced her 1st year at Stellenbosch university in 2023 where she will study at Bachelor of Science(Human Life Sciences) degree and her focal point will be Biology.
