Tammy joined the Born in Africa programme when she was in Gr 8 and already a scholar of Wittedrift High. She was selected because of her academic excellence and her dedicated nature which enabled her to always look to the top for her goals. Tammy excelled on the sports field with Tug of War and she took ballet since her primary school days.
At the end of 2017, Mervin September graduated after completing his four year Electrical Engineering National Diploma at South Cape College (SCC) in Mossel Bay.
