This young lady, who has a knack with a pair of scissors is doing exactly what she was born to do! She comes from Kranshoek and graduated from Plettenberg Bay Secondary school in 2019, then completed a 1-year course in hairdressing at the Total Concepts Academy in Port Elizabeth.
Verushka Damons
Verushka is the definition of a busy bee as she is always exploring and busy with all sorts of things. She grew up in Kranshoek with her mom, stepdad and sisters and ever since she was still a primary school learner at Kranshoek primary, we could see the energy and keenness to learn radiating from Verushka.
Kay-Lynn Smith
Our young lady with the pretty smile and ever positive attitude who comes from Kurland Village, The Crags seems to be following in her mother’s footsteps. Her mother is a chef at the Kurland hotel and Kay-Lynn completed a year higher certificate in Events Management which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Evana Le Fleur
Evana hails from Kranshoek, where she attended school at the local primary school. At a young age she was selected there to become part of Born in Africa.
Joslin Sam
Jossy, as she is fondly known, transferred to Wittedrift High from Plett Secondary after we noticed her ability in terms of commitment to really make a positive difference in her life.
Shanice Davids
Shanice grew up in Kurland Village, The Crags and was raised by her grandmother and her mother. She had a very tough childhood with many social difficulties yet this never stood in her way.
Beugene Green
Beugene is originally from Johannesburg and spent the last days of her schooling living in Green Valley, Wittedrift. There she lives with her mother, stepfather and two siblings.
Hadley Booysen
Hadley was raised by his mother single handily in Green Valley. He completed his school career attending Plett Secondary school.
Adija Hartley
Adija graduated from Wittedrift High school in 2014 and was then accepted to study her passion, teaching at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth.
Jamee- Lee Beukes
Jamee- Lee hails from the community of Kranshoek and attended Wittedrift High School shortly before being sent off to George to the skills school of Van Kervel.

Tamsyn hails from the community of Kranshoek, but attended Plettenberg Bay Primary School before being sent off to George to the skills school of Van Kervel.
Alberto George Wilskut
Alberto commenced his tertiary studies at NMMU in Port Elizabeth studying a National Diploma in Accounting in 2016. Not only does he love studying towards his dream of becoming an accountant one day but he is also a very keen cyclist and is part of the University Cycling Club.

Carey-Ann grew up in Johannesburg and moved with her family to Kranshoek. After she graduated from Wittedrift High in 2015 she was accepted to study Culinary Arts at the very prestigious school of Francois Ferreira Culinary Academy in George.

2016 was Deidre’s first year of tertiary studies after Graduating from Wittedrift High in 2015. This young lady has high business aspirations and we look forward to supporting her every effort at making a huge success of her studies.
Nicole O’raai
Nicole hails from the community of Kranshoek, but attended Plettenbergbaai Primary School before being sent off to George to the skills school of Van Kervel. Born in Africa supported her to go there and attend boarding school as well.
Tarric Davids
This young man is destined to succeed in his passions and what he puts his mind to. Tarric lives in a small rural community in Harkerville, about 20 miles west of Plettenberg Bay.
