Regino Van Rooyen

Regi, as he is fondly known, was a student at Wittedrift High when he became a part of Born in Africa. His points were excellent and his school attitude showed he was passionate and determined to do well. This young man works hard, both in the class room and on the sports field. This made us decide we wanted to support him and sent him on his way to study further not long after. Regi is passionate about sports and dreams of one day becoming a personal coach or to set up his own gym. The course at Varsity College in Port Elizabeth in sport management therefor fitted him like a glove! Goal, Regi! He completed this course at the end of 2020 and then applied for the Bachelor of Education- Intermediate Phase. He obtained his second qualification in 2023 and secured a job at a school for 2024 too. We are proud of you, Reggi!
