Matushka Oliphant

My name is Matuschka Oliphant and I grew up in Kranshoek, Plettenberg bay. I went to Kranshoek Primary for seven years and then to Wittedrift High for five years, where I graduated in 2021. I lived with my mom and then in grade 7, she very sadly passed on. I then moved to live with my aunt for 4 years and in my matric year I moved in with my sister. In 2022 I started studying teaching (foundation phase) at Varsity College in Port Elizabeth, which is a 4-year course. I finished my first semester there with the support of Born in Africa in August 2022. I wish to make my mom proud because I know she really wanted what's best for me.
